With Universal Credit and welfare reform top of everyone’s agenda, organisations are looking for solutions to help manage the transition and encourage the people affected towards self-serve options. DWP funding helped develop LetsHelpYou to enable tenants to access available affordable accommodation in the private rental sector on a range of digital channels.
Designed and developed in partnership with local authorities to address a specific need, LetsHelpYou is an award-winning technology that has a range of benefits from reductions in avoidable contact, decreasing the time properties are left vacant, reducing eviction rates, removing the local authority from the centre of this contact-heavy service, enabling self-service across a range of digital channels as well as wider efficiency savings.
LetsHelpYou was piloted across the five West Yorkshire local authorities and now has a network of over 20 local authorities using the multi-channel solution.

LetsHelpYou wins national award
Landlord professionals vote the LetsHelpYou service winner at the 2013/14 Landlord & Letting Awards ceremony in the Public Sector/Not for Profit category, as well as placing the service as a finalist in the Website category. Judging criteria focused on inspirational leadership, new ways of working, innovative thinking and evidence of community benefits in the long-term.
Oliver Romain, editor of Landlord & Buy-to-Let magazine, commented: “The Landlord & Letting Awards are the premier nationwide private rented sector awards. This year’s response was phenomenal and the standard of entries was extremely high, so LetsHelpYou has done brilliantly to win their category.”
